Project: I worked alongside Plant It Forward’s Volunteer and Community Engagement Coordinator to create a volunteer orientation guidebook. Before COVID-19, orientation was conducted in person, and once the shutdown occurred, the Coordinator created a Google Classroom for new volunteers; however, the age range of their volunteers varies. The coordinator created a call for help on VolunteerMatch and I signed up to assist in creating a pdf version of the information found on Google Classroom. Using InDesign, I was able to create a pdf booklet that could be printed or posted online.
